Navy completes COBRA operational testing aboard the Coronado

The Navy has completed operational testing of the AN-DVS-1 Coastal Battlefield Reconnaissance Analysis system, a key component of the Littoral Combat Ship mine countermeasures mission package. Cmdr. Karl McCarthy, Coronado (LCS-4) commanding officer, told Inside Defense April 19 the service wrapped up the roughly two-month operational test period April 6. OT is constructed of five phases: cybersecurity, maintenance, flying the MQ-8 Fire Scout, integrating COBRA with Fire Scout and completing four missions.
