Navy completes DDG-51 Flight III design work

The Navy has completed the detail design work for Flight III of the Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, according to the program manager. "The 3D modeling, which is key to us having a good stable design [and] baseline cost efficient construction, was completed by both shipyards last December -- on schedule," Capt.
