Navy convenes with industry to discuss over-the-horizon weapon for LCS

Navy officials met with companies last month to discuss the service's upcoming competition for a new over-the-horizon weapon planned for installation on Littoral Combat Ships and frigates. The service will issue a request for proposals to companies this month for the over-the-horizon weapon, with proposals due back by April, according to slides from the Dec. 16 industry day hosted by Naval Sea Systems Command.
