Navy establishes advanced training center for information warfare forces

The Navy is creating a development center where information warfare forces will conduct advanced training for mission areas like cyberspace operations and electronic warfare. The establishment of the Naval Information Warfighting Development Center was approved in a Feb. 27 chief of naval operations notice. The center, effectively established on March 1, is located at the Joint Reserve Intelligence Center in Norfolk, VA, according to the notice.
