Navy exploring options for future vertical lift

The Navy is searching for a vertical lift capability with maritime strike to replace its current fleet of MH-60R/S helicopters and MQ-8B/C unmanned air vehicles, releasing a request for information last month to inform a future analysis of alternatives. The analysis of alternatives will support "efforts to identify cost-effective alternatives to fill capability gaps in the MH-60R/S and MQ-8C as they begin to reach their end of service in the 2030s," the document states.
