Navy extends production of upgraded anti-radiation missile through FY-23

The Navy is extending production of Orbital ATK's Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile kits from fiscal year 2020 to FY-23, increasing the procurement quantity by nearly 30 percent as part of the president's 2017 budget submission, according to the latest selected acquisition report on the program. The Navy is planning to buy an additional 556 AGM-88E AARGMs in total, increasing the procurement quantity from 1,879 missile kits to 2,435 and extending production through 2023, according to the report.
