Navy Extends Proposal Due Date For Littoral Combat Ship Downselect

The Navy has extended the deadline for Littoral Combat Ship proposals from competitors General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin from March 29 to April 12, according to a notice posted yesterday on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site. The March 2 amendment to the January request for proposals does not specify a reason for the extension.
