Navy looks ahead to Super Hornet's service life extension

The Navy is aiming to execute an impending service life extension program for Boeing’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet tactical fighter jets without sidelining more than 20 percent of the fleet at any one time, according to the head of naval aviation.
