Navy looping Joint Strike Fighter into integrated anti-air warfare system

The Navy is in the early stages of networking F-35 Joint Strike Fighter radar data into the Naval Integrated Fire Control-Counter Air system, according to a program official. The service is planning a live-fire test involving the integration of the F-35 into the networked system, next fall, according to Anant Patel, the deputy program manager for NIFC-CA under the Navy's program executive office for integrated warfare systems.
