Navy Names 'Superior Suppliers,' Talks Incentives

The Navy has identified nine defense companies whose performance qualifies them as "superior suppliers," which could put them in line for financial incentives, top Defense Department acquisition officials said at the Pentagon. The Navy's superior suppliers are General Dynamics Combat Systems; General Dynamics Marine Systems; General Electric Aviation; Lockheed Martin Missions Systems and Training; a partnership between MHSCo, Sikorsky, and Lockheed; Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems; Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems; Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services; and Rolls-Royce Defence Aerospace.
