Navy planning tech refresh contract for NIXIE

The Navy intends to award a contract to refresh a system aimed at protecting aircraft carriers from incoming torpedoes. The contract is for the AN/SLQ-25 Torpedo Countermeasure Transmitting Sets, also called NIXIE, according to a July 17 Federal Business Opportunities notice .
