Navy Postpones Production Decision for Marines' MV-22 Osprey

Navy acquisition executive Lee Buchanan today postponed a decision on whether to proceed with full-rate production of the MV-22 Osprey by several weeks because he wants more information on the program, according to a Defense Department spokesman. "Dr. Buchanan had a meeting this morning, I understand, and he has asked for more data to be provided to him, and will reschedule, depending on the receipt of the data and if it's acceptable to him, for later this month," DOD spokesman...
