Navy re-starts main turbine generator testing on CVN-78

The Navy re-started testing on the next-generation megacarrier Gerald R. Ford's main turbine generators in mid-November, according to the service. The testing continues to provide "useful information" for the service's root cause assessment, Naval Sea Systems Command spokeswoman Colleen O'Rourke wrote in a Dec. 6 statement to Inside the Navy .
