Navy realigns $120 million from flight operations to ship maintenance

The Navy plans to redistribute $120 million from flight operations to shipbuilding maintenance, citing an aircraft shortage. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer informed Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain (R-AZ) and Ranking Member Jack Reed (D-RI) of the service's plans in a letter last month.
