Navy says MQ-25 will reach IOC in FY-24, despite budget cuts

Despite a potential 10-month delay to the schedule, the Navy says it is still planning for its new unmanned aerial tanker program to achieve initial operational capability in fiscal year 2024, according to the officer overseeing the aircraft. The Navy in 2018 set itself the goal for when the MQ-25 should reach the operational mile marker, already accelerating the timeline two years ahead of a previous schedule.
