Navy Seeks To Extend X-47B Flight Operations Through FY-14

The Navy is seeking congressional permission to extend flight operations for the X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System-Demonstrator through fiscal year 2014, according to a reprogramming request obtained by Inside the Navy . If approved by the four congressional defense committees, the fiscal year 2013 reprogramming request would add $39 million for the program in the research and development account.
