Navy taps industry for input on extending connector service life

The Navy is tapping industry for input on upgrading aging connectors that get Marines and equipment ashore before releasing a request for proposals. The Landing Craft Air Cushion Service Life Extension Program extends the craft's service life from 20 to 30 years. The government is conducting market research to gather questions and comments from industry on a draft statement of work posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
