Navy: Transition To New IT Deal Will Save $1 Billion Over FYDP

The Navy is saving about $20 million a month, and expects to save $1 billion over the future years defense plan, by transitioning a legacy Intranet contract to the multibillion-dollar Next-Generation Enterprise Network program, a Navy official said today.
