New AFRICOM Drills, Fuel Costs To Ratchet Up Exercise Bills in FY-10

A Pentagon program covering the cost of transporting U.S. forces to exercises worldwide is slated to swell by $37 million in fiscal year 2010 due to rising fuel costs and new exercises sponsored by U.S. Africa Command, according to sources and documents.
