New Army cyber directorate comes online

The Army's new cyber directorate has reached initial operating capability, in keeping with the "aggressive time line" outlined by the service's electronic warfare chief last month. On May 19, Col. Jeffrey Church told Inside the Army that the directorate, housed in the Army's G-3/5/7 office, would achieve IOC by the first half of June and reach full operating capability "a very short time later," possibly in August.
