New DOD IG Report Details How JIEDDO Improperly Gathered Intel On U.S. Companies

The Pentagon's Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization improperly gathered intelligence on U.S. companies and citizens, according to a Defense Department inspector general's report made public Thursday. The IG found that analysts from JIEDDO's Counter-IED Operations Intelligence Integration Center (COIC) "collected information on U.S. companies and their CEOs, U.S. hostages held by foreign extremists, and specific U.S. Persons," according to the April 4 report , which was released Thursday in response to a Freedom of Information Act request from InsideDefense.com...
