Northrop Grumman VTUAV Flies for the First Time

A prototype vertical-takeoff-and-landing unmanned aerial vehicle flew for the first time yesterday, Northrop Grumman announced. The company's El Segundo, CA-based Air Combat Systems business unit is developing the aircraft for the Navy's VTUAV competition.
