Northrop Grumman Wins $128 Million BAT Contract

Northrop Grumman has won a $128 million firm-fixed-price, low-rate initial production contract from Lockheed Martin to build 609 Brilliant Anti-Armor submunitions, the contractor announced yesterday. The submunitions will be installed in the Army's Lockheed Martin-produced Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), and final assembly will take place at Northrop Grumman's new Land Combat Systems production plant at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The company's electronic sensors and systems sector will deliver the submunitions through August 2002, according to Northrop Grumman. Total production potential...
