Northrop Grumman has won a $128 million firm-fixed-price, low-rate initial production contract from Lockheed Martin to build 609 Brilliant Anti-Armor submunitions, the contractor announced yesterday. The submunitions will be installed in the Army's Lockheed Martin-produced Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), and final assembly will take place at Northrop Grumman's new Land Combat Systems production plant at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
