Northrop Grumman Wins $303 Million Radar Deal

Northrop Grumman yesterday was awarded a $303 million contract for phase one of the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program, the Defense Department announced. The radar, which Northrop is developing with Raytheon, is designed to improve the ability of various U.S. and NATO reconnaissance aircraft to kill elusive "time-critical" targets.
