NSA Deputy Director Nominated As Be Special Liaison To U.K.

National Security Agency Director Lt. Gen. Michael Hayden has nominated Deputy Director Barbara McNamara for the position of Special U.S. Liaison Officer, London, England, NSA announced today. InsideDefense.com reported McNamara's impending move on Feb. 15. McNamara will be responsible to Hayden for representing the agency in its relationships with United Kingdom authorities including the Government Communications Headquarters, Britain's NSA equivalent.
