Despite the gridlock afflicting Capitol Hill, Sens. Pat Toomey (R-PA) and Bob Casey (D-PA) have cast partisanship aside on at least one issue: protecting defense jobs in their home state. The Pennsylvania senators last week filed a bipartisan amendment to the fiscal year 2013 defense authorization bill that would require the Army secretary to conduct a study on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle industrial base, most of which is in their home state.
