Pentagon Adds $521 Million To Information Warfare Efforts

Information warfare is due for a $521 million increase in the fiscal year 2002 defense budget request, according to Defense Department budget documents obtained by InsideDefense.com . Program budget decision No. 815 , approved on June 22 by the Pentagon comptroller, adds the funding for "various information warfare efforts including computer network defense."
