Pentagon Cancels Army's Comanche Program

The Pentagon has canceled the RAH-66 Comanche helicopter program at the Army's request, senior service officials announced today. After spending $6.9 billion on the program so far, the Army determined the proliferation of sophisticated anti-aircraft missiles on today's battlefield and budding capabilities found elsewhere warrants a new investment strategy.
