Pentagon Delays JCA Source Selection Until End of May (Updated)

The Defense Department has delayed by nearly a month its plans to determine the winner of the Joint Cargo Aircraft competition, a contest with the potential to provide one of two competitors a nearly $5 billion deal. Pentagon acquisition executive Kenneth Krieg will convene a meeting of the high-level Defense Acquisition Board to consider the source selection for JCA on May 30.
