Pentagon Issues Guidelines on Dealing with Companies Who Have Violated Federal Laws

The Defense Department has issued new guidelines to contracting officers for dealing with companies who have violated procurement and other federal laws. The new rule should provide contracting officers with firmer footing for declining to do business with these companies, DOD said in a notice published in today's Federal Register .
