Pentagon Launches Major Review Of Non-Standard Helicopter Purchases

The Pentagon has launched a major review of the type of helicopters it is buying for the fledgling militaries in Afghanistan and Iraq, InsideDefense.com has learned. The review could possibly identify U.S.-made aircraft that could replace the popular Russian-made choppers now being supplied to these nations by the United States.
