Pentagon moves to implement new EMS strategy

The Pentagon is establishing a new, two-star-run Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center under U.S. Strategic Command as result of a new directive signed by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. On July 15, Austin signed the 2020 Electromagnetic Spectrum Superiority Strategy’s Implementation Plan, or I-Plan.
