Pentagon Reassesses Gulf War Mustard Gas Findings

The Defense Department announced yesterday it has changed from "likely" to "indeterminate" the likelihood that a Persian Gulf War soldier was exposed to mustard agent chemical weapons in Iraq. The updated version of its so-called case narrative, "Reported Mustard Exposure Operation Desert Storm," downgrades the likelihood that then-Pfc. David Fisher was exposed to mustard agents.
