Pentagon Recertifies Air Force C-5 RERP Program

The Pentagon has told Congress it is ready to continue an Air Force effort to re-engine the C-5 Galaxy fleet of airlifters, officially recertifying a troubled program that has been plagued by cost overruns, a senior acquisition official said this morning.
