Pentagon stands up new counter-drone team

Pentagon acquisition chief Ellen Lord provided new details today on the U.S. effort to field counter-drone technology, saying the military is working with foreign allies to test and evaluate a variety of potential systems. Lord, speaking to reporters at a breakfast in Washington, said the Defense Department has named Army Maj. Gen. Sean Gainey as the new lead to counter enemy unmanned aerial systems. Gainey's team will have an office in Arlington, VA's Crystal City neighborhood with about 60 people...
