Pentagon working on artificial intelligence strategy

The Pentagon is working on an artificial intelligence strategy aimed at aligning various efforts across the Defense Department and outpacing China. Last September, DOD leaders decided they needed "to start pulling together what everybody in the department was doing" on AI research and development, according to Mary Miller, who is performing the duties of the assistant secretary of defense for research and engineering.
