Raytheon Given $119 Million, Six-Country Standard Missile Contract

The Defense Department announced today it has given Raytheon a $119 million contract modification for the production of Standard Missile-2 missiles and associated equipment. The contract covers buys for six countries, including the United States. The contract modification calls for the production of 48 fiscal year 2001 Standard Missile-2 block III/IIIA all-up rounds, 75 block IIIB all-up rounds, 80 block IIIB ORDALT kits, and 40 AN/DKT-71A Telemetric Data Transmitting Sets, according to a DOD statement.
