Raytheon Slashes Standard Missile-6 Price By 32 Percent

Raytheon has been able to slash the price of the Standard Missile-6 by 32 percent over three recent low-rate initial production buys, according to a company executive. Mike Campisi, Raytheon's senior SM-6 program director, described the cost efficiencies to reporters during a July 8 teleconference scheduled by the company to discuss the missile's most recent flight test.
