Rep. Gibbons Calls for 750 F-22s to Support AEF, EW Requirements

Saying that planned inventories of F-22 fighters are insufficient to meet future requirements, Rep. Jim Gibbons (R-NV) wrote in an "issue brief" today that the administration should increase the F-22 buy to 750 because "arbitrary budget compromises" cut the buy to 339 Raptors -- a total that may not be enough "to meet national needs."
