Reprogramming request seeks funds for BCT conversions, APS testing

The Army is seeking congressional approval to shift hundreds of millions of dollars in fiscal year 2017, as well as smaller amounts of FY-16 and FY-15 funds, to address changing priorities. An omnibus reprogramming request signed June 30 by Defense Department Comptroller David Norquist includes $575.6 million in base budget reallocations for the Army under general transfer authority.
