As Republicans prepare a short-term CR extension, industry remains optimistic

Republicans are working on a short-term extension of the stopgap spending bill to avert a government shutdown Dec. 8, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said today. The GOP continues to negotiate with Democrats, who demand parity between defense and non-defense budget increases. "We're going to obviously have a short-term [continuing resolution]," Ryan said during a weekly briefing with reporters. "Stay tuned on that."
