Rocket Issue Delays SBSS Launch

Air Force officials have indefinitely delayed the launch of the Space-Based Space Surveillance satellite after a test anomaly was discovered on a Minotaur IV launch vehicle during testing, according to a service statement. The launch was scheduled for July 8 but a software issue is being assessed to determine how it would impact the SBSS mission, according to an Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center statement released this morning.
