Rogers touts SOCOM as model for cyber command

The head of U.S. Cyber Command says his organization should be elevated to a unified combatant command and have a centralized structure similar to that of U.S. Special Operations Command. Adm. Michael Rogers said Feb. 23 that CYBERCOM should move toward a model where it provides forces to the other combatant commanders, akin to how SOCOM has theater component commands.
