Rolls Royce Wins $1.4 Billion C-130 Engine Contract

Rolls Royce Corp. has won a $1.4 billion contract for C-130 engine parts, the Defense Department announced today. The announcement states that Allison Engine Co., which became part of Rolls Royce in 1995, won the deal for "various quantities of 346 spare parts for the T-56 engine applicable to the C-130 aircraft."
