SADARM Successful in Army Reliability Tests

The Army's cash-strapped Sense and Destroy Armor program moved one step closer to production and eventual fielding late last month during two days of intensive tests at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona, the system's manufacturer announced yesterday. An Aerojet Co. announcement stated SADARM "exceeded all critical requirements and objectives" during reliability determination and assurance program test firings on Jan. 25-27.
