Schoomaker Says More 'Stryker-type' Vehicles May Be Needed

The Army may decide to "populate" its fighting units with additional "Stryker-type" vehicles, Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Schoomaker said today. The service is committed to purchasing more than 2,100 of the 19-ton, wheeled Strykers to equip six units.
