Search Under Way for New JIEDDO Director

Retired Gen. Montgomery Meigs, who has led the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization since its inception, is expected to leave his position within the next few months, according to JIEDDO. The exact date of his departure has not been set and will largely be determined by the choice of his successor, sources told .
