Senators press prospective Pentagon No. 2 official on cyber, supply chain security

The new nominee for deputy defense secretary said he would expand the efforts of a Pentagon task force working to shore up defense supply chain security and pledged to consider how the Defense Department can work with smaller contractors to provide adequate cybersecurity.
