Senior Chinese Military Official To Make First U.S. Visit

Gen. Yu Yongbo, a member of China's Central Military Commission, will make his first visit to the United States Wednesday as the head of a Chinese military delegation that will undertake an 11-day tour of U.S. military sites, the Pentagon announced today. Yu, the director of the People's Liberation Army General Political department, is responsible for political education, welfare and morale.
