Sikorsky, Bell move on to FARA phase 2

The Army has chosen Sikorsky and Bell Flight to build prototypes for the competitive flight test phase of the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft, the service announced today. FARA, the No. 1 priority under the service's future vertical lift effort, will replace the OH-58 Kiowa helicopter and half of the AH-64 Apache fleet.
